South London Electrician Awarded SafeContractor Gold Accreditation

Streatham-based Now Electrics Ltd has been awarded Gold-level certification from SafeContractor, the UK's leading health and safety accreditation scheme for contractors, recognising excellence in health and safety management.

SafeContractor is used by thousands of organisations across the UK — from SMEs to FTSE 100 companies — to vet contractors before they are engaged on site. Achieving Gold status places Now Electrics among a smaller group of contractors recognised for going beyond the scheme's baseline standard.

Now Electrics Ltd is a NAPIT-registered residential electrical contractor based in Streatham, South London, specialising in Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), rewires, fault finding, and general domestic and communal electrical work. The company is also 18th Edition BS7671 qualified and holds SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) assessed status via SafeContractor.

The accreditation comes as Now Electrics continues to grow its work with letting agents, block and property managers, and housing providers across South London, carrying out EICRs and reactive electrical repairs on residential and communal properties throughout the area.

The certification will support Now Electrics' work with facilities management firms, block and property managers, and housing providers across London, many of whom require SafeContractor accreditation as a condition of engaging contractors on their sites.
